One Step Ovulation Urine Test is a qualitative test used to predict when there is a LH surge, and in turn, when you are likely to ovulate. Experts state that LH testing is a reliable way to detect ovulation. Ovulation will occur after 24-48 hours following a positive test. One Step HCG Urine Test is a rapid pregnancy test, which you can easily carry out yourself. It detects the presence of human chorionic gonadotropin ("HCG"), which appears in urine very early during pregnancy.
HOW DOES IT WORK? Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) is a hormone, produced by the developing placenta shortly after the conception and secreted into the urine. The pregnancy test contains antibodies which specifically react with this hormone. WHEN TO BEGIN TESTING The length of the menstrual cycle is the duration from your first menstrual bleeding day to the day before the next bleeding begins. Determine the length of menstrual cycle before test. Please refer to the chart below to determine when you should start testing. If your cycle is shorter than 21 days or longer than 38 days, consult a physician. If you do not know your cycle length, you may begin the test 11 days after your first period since the average cycle length is 28 days. Perform 1 test each day over a 5 days period, or until the LH surge has been detected. PLEASE NOTE: LH tests cannot be frozen. Please make sure you have an indoor mailbox before placing the order in winter.

Great price, not always clear
I have been using these for 2 months. They are very cost effective, but last month I missed the "positive" probably because I couldn't tell if it was darker or not. This month when the lines looked similar, I confirmed a positive result with the Clearblue smiley face kit (this cost $30 for 20 tests, but is very easy to read.) So apparently, both kits work great!
Pregnant in month #2.
My first child took 9 months to conceive. It was a hard and deflating process. I bought so many expensive OPKs over that time and was disappointed each time...I always found that the results were confusing. These were different.
When my next door neighbor got pregnant MUCH faster than she planned, she gave me the rest of her stash of her ovulation and pregnancy test strips. There were so many of them that I didn't feel wasteful when I tried them early (to use as a control). This way, I knew without question when the levels were changing. The first month was mainly a month to practice with the strips. The second month was go-time. It worked. Baby #2 is currently 5 months old and playing with her feet in her swing. I am so grateful for these inexpensive strips. I am buying a set right now for my sister in law.
Good reads if you know how to do an OPK
If you follow the instructions and all the info provided on the internet for OPK's then they are awesome! You do have to wait 5 minutes for it to give you the results. The proper way to know you surged is if the line is as dark or darker than the test line, otherwise you dd not surge. Never use a urine sample before noon and wait four hours. You have a bit of hcg in your urine early in the morning and it will give you a faint line.
I have not used the pregnancy strips yet, but I am sure they are just as good. A great deal for the money.

I received this item with great timing. I was going on a cruise and hoped to receive it before leaving. I ordered it on a Monday and by Friday I received in regular ground mail. This was great service of store mailing it out on the same day of the order. I was able to use it on my cruise. I was able to test pregnancy 2 weeks later. They worked perfectly. Now I am happy I will be expecting my baby in late April! Thanks for the great prompt service!

Well I received these about 3 weeks ago... had a positive ovulation tests within one week..
had sex once after the test.. took a couple pregnancy tests said no.. then kept waiting..
and now 4 days before my missed period.. have a positive one!!!
Id say they are just as accurate as the expensive ones :D
