Worth the Money!
I am 5'4 and although I wish I purchased a bigger ball, It gets the job done. I have not had to re-inflate the ball after a month of usage. It does not pick up dirt or hair off the carpet. It did not come with a measuring tape so you'll need your own handy. The hand pump was easy to use and faster than I thought. Overall, I am happy with my purchase :-)
No Plug!
Recieved this today (7/12/10) I received everything from the ball to the instructional wall chart to the air pump, but I'm missing the white plug that I found out I was supposed to have. After I inflated the ball I realized the white plug wasn't there and slowly the ball started deflating in front of my eyes. It was like watching the Titanic sink. Anyway, I contacted Amazon, the lady I talked to told me they would be sending one tomorrow (Tuesday) to be arriving Wednesday on one day shipping. I was supposed to print out a sticker and send this one back (something I haven't done before, and sounds very confusing). I'll update how my experiences with both amazon and this ball have gone. Make sure you have everything, people. I read some review where some guy did'nt get his air pump. Missing pieces seems kind of common on amazon.
Great price and a great purchase
I've now had my yoga ball for 3 months, and I've sat on it every day. I'm a large man, 6 foot tall and over 300 lbs, and I have never had a problem with this product. I've just added air to it for the first time since I got it!
As for the reviews saying that it's smaller than they think... you're not filling it all the way up! When you think it's full, it will hold a bunch more... fill it till it's the right size! If this can hold my weight FULLY inflated, you're not going to pop it just inflating it to the proper size! Oh, and to make it easier, I use the exhaust port of my shopvac to quickly fill this!
I have noticed less lower back pain and more abdominal muscle mass since I've been using this ball, I'm ordering an extra one for my work!

Not really anti-burst. The cat popped mine easily.
All was fine until my cat tried stepping on to it from the bed, got scared and burst it with a single claw as he jumped off.
Not sure what anti-burst construction is supposed to mean.
