Flexibile & Sturdy
I have used a plastic one in the past, three times, all broke. Plastic is NOT the way to go. This one has a metal shoe horn, with length and flexibility. I am concerned as how the flexible joint might hold up over time, but what the heck, I just got it and it works. I think the best bet, to insure almost for life, is to purchase one that is made entirely of metal. There is a caveat here though, as if thin metal is use, it would be prone for bending. The flexing of this unit helps to relieve that type of stress.

Shoe Horn
Would not purchase again. Shoe horn separates from handle, sticking in shoe, and causes problems with use. Shoe horn is light metal and bends also.
Fantastic Product
I ordered this product for my 78 year old mother who can no longer bend over to put on her shoes.
She is delighted to be able to put her shoes on by herself again. It is long enough for her to
easily use it to put pn her shoes. I am glad that she has regained some small level of independence.
Wonderful product. I would recommemd it for anyone who is unable to bend over to put their shoes on.
Shoe Horn
Bought this long handle shoe horn for my 86 year old Father. It works great and he loves it. No more crushing the backs of his shoes trying to jam his foot in without having to bend over.
