The UA-787EJ Quick Response monitor blends digital blood pressure technology and advanced features with simple functionality. This monitor offers memory, time and date feature and more with the simple push of a button. The EA-787EJ stores the last 60 readings in memory and also displays average readings. In addition, the Quick Response offers a time and date function, which indicates when a measurement was taken. Users can also program three alarms per day to remind them when to take a reading. Included with this monitor is the Easy-Fit¿ Cuff, an innovative cuff that instantly fits your arm. It has been specifically designed to fit most arms (9-17") and provides the highest level of comfort and accurate readings. The UA-787EJ also offers two innovative features, the Pressure Rating Indicator¿ and Irregular Heartbeat feature. The Pressure Rating Indicator provides a snapshot of your blood pressure classification based on your measurements and eliminates the guesswork on what your blood pressure measurements mean. Also included is an irregular Heartbeat Feature that alerts the user and provides an accurate measurement even when an Irregular Heartbeat occurs. It has been clinically validated for accuracy (+/- 3mmHg and Pulse +/- 5%), so you can be confident that your readings are consistently correct. The measurement range is 20 mmHg to 280 mmHg and Pulse: 40 to 200 pulses/minute. Excellent value for money!
My wife and I have been using this blood pressure monitor for over five years. We have found that the instrument gives consistent and accurate readings. The readings of the instrument check very well with what our family doctor finds. It is very good value for the money.
A disappointing purchase
I bought this monitor to replace another brand of auto-inflate monitor purchased at a drugstore. The old monitor had been very accurate, but died suddenly and was not repairable. The LifeSource UA-787 is easy to use but is at least 20 points higher on both the systolic and diastolic measurements when compared with blood pressure readings done at the doctor's office.
Not recommended
My husband was diagnosed with high blood pressure and is taking medication so I purchased this monitor.
The readings were so high that he took it to the doctor's office and found out this monitor was way off.
The doctor's reading was 122/60. The monitor's reading was 150/93.
I am returning it. I would rate it 0 stars if I could.
acceptable blood pressure machine
we needed a simple cost effective machine to measure blood pressure. This machine did the trick.
Dangerously inaccurate!!
We bought this because my husband has slight pre hypertension (139/90 is a normal reading for him), and his doctor wanted him to keep on eye on it. After receiving this both my husband and I tried many times to get an accurate reading, but it was consistently ridiculously high. In about 50 attempts we never got it lower than 160/100, many times in the 170's and 180's. I do not have high blood pressure, it is always normal. I happened to be going to the doctors so I took it with me and the nurse couldn't get an accurate reading with it either. My BP at the doctors office (done manually by a nurse) was 118/70- 40 points lower than this so called BP monitor read! Don't waste your money on this. I am sending this back!
