Instructions for Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitors
There are several easy steps to taking your blood pressure with this monitor. First of all, avoid eating, smoking, and exercising for at least 30 minutes before taking a measurement. Remove tight-fitting clothing from your upper arm, and sit in a chair with your feet flat on the floor. Slide your left arm through the cuff and position the cuff approximately 0.5-inches above the elbow. On the cuff you'll notice a green marker; position this marker directly over the artery on the inside of your arm. Next, secure the cuff with the Velcro material. The cuff should make direct contact with your skin, but you should be able to easily fit your index finger between the cuff and your arm.

This product is easy to use once you get the hang of it - sit in a chair, feet on the floor, arm bent, and try not to move your arm or talk. Brought the monitor to my doctor the first time and the numbers no-where near matched. Tried it a second time and they came very close. Overall, I like this product and would recommend it.
Easy but results fluctuate
very easy to use with preformed cuff, positioning graphic and one-button start; only thing surprising to me is how much the results vary for multiple checks immediately taken one after another; typically start high and then drop; maybe that's an accurate result of fluctuating BP but given this outcome I intend to use averaging of multiple test results to monitor my actual levels; also intend to ask my physician to check me at my next doctor's appt to see how consistent things seem

I have not received this product yet, but I purchased this as a gift and it will be almost a month before it will be delivered. I would have rather cancelled the order and purchased this product elsewhere, but amazon will not let me cancel my order. What a waste. I have never had a problem with shipping before, but a month from purchase and no delivery???

The monitor arrived in a very timely manner and was easy to set up and use, it provides all the information we need and seems to be very accurate.
Blood Pressure Device
Unit is impressive in its features and construction. I use it three times a day because I was trying to document my blood pressure for my doctor because it spikes at various times. However after two weeks the unit began to have failures in the process of reading. I returned the unit and received a replacement. The replacement unit has has two failures in two days. Amazon has been terrific in customer service to me. If the unit failures increase, I will return it for a refund

Place your arm on a table so that the cuff is positioned at the same level as your heart. Rest comfortably in a relaxed environment for at least 15 minutes prior to taking your blood pressure measurement. Once you feel relaxed, simply press the start button and remain still. The cuff will begin to inflate and numbers will appear on the display as the heart symbol flashes. When the measurement is complete, the cuff will deflate, and your blood pressure and pulse rate will display on the screen. If you need to stop the measurement at any time, simply press the on/off button and the monitor will immediately deflate. And remember, always consult your physician for specific information about your blood pressure.
