Chicken baby-monitor!
I bought this item for no specific reason, and I realize it isn't at all effective for the things it is advertised for. But! I use it inside my incubator (chicken and other type eggs) to transmit all sounds inside to my earphones. It is absolutely fabulous as I can hear the chicks as soon as three to five days before a hatch, and therefore I can follow the activity inside there before and during a hatch. Sounds like a factory in full function when they are all pecking to get out of their shells. Did you know chicks begin to jockey for position and cheep to each other and their (in this case, phantom) mother way ahead of hatch date? I love it, am ordering another in case this one poops out on me.

This product is not what it advertises to be. I did not have unreasonable expectations, but this product didn't meet even the minimal ones. It makes "white sound" noises even in perfect silence, and it DOES NOT magnify the sounds it is supposed to magnify, the way the advertising description states. It magnifies to some degree, but it's not a good quality sound. It was a true waste of my money!
Bad Buy
Hoped that this item would benefit my husband's hearing but it was a terrible purchase. Lots of static and irratic sound.

I guess it does what I paid for (glad it wasn't too much). If you touch the little unit (with your hand or your clothing or a piece of paper or yarn) there is way too much noise and we haven't figured out how to keep it "quiet"! My mother is using it when she is at church and when trying to watch TV and is using her cellphone case to hold it so nothing touches it. She has enjoyed being able to have the TV sound down lower and it has been nice for her to hear at church again.

this product doesn't work. the microphone in the base unit creates too much feedback and unless the microphone/base unit is perfectly still all that is heard is the shuffeling of base unit moving. I would like to return the unit.
