a real help
I've used it for a couple of weeks now after total hip surgery and it's worked very well for me. You must use both handles at the same time when lifting and lowering yourself to avoid tipping the unit, but used properly, it works well.
elevated
Excellent product, works great with handles to help rise, easy to clean, easy to install and uninstall for cleaning.
Not bad if you need one
The toilet seat is not bad if you really need one. You probably have to clean it every time you use it. Watch out for the depth of the existing toilet rim because the notch in the back of the toilet seat that fits under the toilet rim only takes rims that are something like 1 3/4" or less. Mine was 2+inches and, while you can clamp the front of the seat, it was not really stable. The ad doesn't mention this limitation. I am now looking at the product that raises the existing toilet even though it may require a plumber to install.
Wish it locked tighter
This worked for the couple of weeks I needed it after hip replacement but wished it locked a little more securely.
Good Product
Purchase item and was very pleased and would recommend to anyone needing a seat with arms for support.
