The bathtub bar that locks to the side of your tub allows for you to get in and out of your tub. It has a crank-style, locking device that attaches to tub walls up to 7inches wide. I bought this recently for my parents who need something to hold onto as they enter and exit the shower~ they really like it a lot> it was easy to install and came really quickly in the mail
Great gadget- for safety
Got this for my dad who stayed with us after my mom passed away and was fearful of everything- including getting in and out of the tub. This gadget is so easy to install or move to a different location. My family was impressed with the strength. I am an Occupational Therapist and will recommend this for potential clients as well. Good quality and price.Also does not interfere with the rest of the families showeruse, hardly seen behind the showercurtain. Very pleased with this purchase

Super fast shipping, great product - I use it "inappropriately" by holding onto the top of the unit when getting into the tub most times, so I'm satisfied with the function of it, but wish it stayed stable for more numbers of ins-and-outs before it needed re-attaching. I'd buy it again, even so. To my mind it is far more than worth the price, especially when combined with other Amazon purchases so I got free shipping (and it was FAST to arrive!).
