Shower cast protector
This item took a week longer to arrive than the crutch supports I ordered. When I first tried to pull time item over the cast on my right leg it became an impossible task even with help. if the item had worked it would have been worth it. I have been using a med. size trash bag and taping it with 2" wide medical tape which works great. This product is a waste of you time and money.
Great Product
I searched for 20 minutes on how to leave a review of this product! I had a bunionectomy with a huge boot that went up to almost my knee a week ago. My son used one of these years ago when he had a cast on his arm, and decided to get one for my leg. One of the reviewers said to get the longer one, and I am really glad I did. It is a little hard to get over the big boot, but once its on, the fit is snug and NO water gets in. Much, much better than a garbage bag and a bunch of duct or pacing tape. I do have to be a little careful not to tear the plastic, but it is pretty thick.
Do not hesitate to get this product if you need it! It is fab.
Water Proof your cast
Don't even waste your time with home remedies of masking tape and plastic bags. They will leak and drive you nuts. This product performed superbly; no leaks, easy to use, made showering with a cast a snap.
Great Foot surgery cast protector
100% waterproof, may take help from someone else to put on at first, depending on size of cast/bandaging, etc. Hole seems small, but stretches.
Good concept, poor execution.
I purchased this for my wife, who recently ended up in a cast. While this product looks like an ideal solution to the alternative of a kitchen trash bag and medical tape, it's not. It's just too darn difficult to get on and off. The rubber piece at the top that keeps it 'waterproof' is just way to hard to pull up over your foot, let alone up your leg. Taking it off is not pleasure either.
